Are you are new parent looking for Baby and Toddler classes in Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon or Pebworth?
My name is Serena and I’m so excited to continue bringing the award-winning Adventure Babies to Warwickshire and Coventry. Take your little ones on a sensory storytelling adventure each week, as we bring a brilliant book to life!
I have two little ones of my own. So, like you, I know what it is to juggle what feels like a million balls at once!
As an ex-English teacher and mummy, I’m hugely passionate about books and the importance of exposing little ones to them as early as possible to support their development. So, it was super important to me to encourage a love of books with my own babies. I wanted my son and daughter to see how books have the power to transport them to different worlds, fire their imagination and capacity for wonder, and launch them into endless adventures. So, we read to them every day – but, as a first-time mummy, I wanted ideas on how I could do more with the books we read, and I knew there were things I couldn’t really do at home.
Then, a lovely friend recommended Adventure Babies to me. The class was everything that I had been looking for: it brought the stories I read at home to life using props, puppets, music, lights, messy and sensory play. My baby got to explore the world around her while we bonded in a beautiful space. Adventure Babies was a huge part of my first year as a new mummy, not least because of the warmth of the class leader and the other kind mummies, daddies and carers I met. It was so wonderful that I went straight back with my second baby!
For all these reasons, and more, I am so excited to welcome you and your little adventurer along to our baby and toddler classes. Each week we will be bringing a fantastic book to life and establishing a love of stories and a sense of wonder in your little one. I’ll look forward to seeing you there!
